Short and Sweet:

Farmer’s son Tom meets a beautiful woman in the city who dreams of life in the countryside. Against the wishes of his extremely authoritarian father, Tom brings the young waitress home as his wife to the farm. However, due to Tom’s father, who treats the lively beauty as an intruder, and the envious desire of the farm workers, an increasingly unbearable atmosphere develops. The catastrophe makes its way inexorably during a dramatic stormy night…
