About
The clumsy street photographer Buster (Buster Keaton) is plagued by bad luck. When he meets the beautiful Sally (Marceline Day), he instantly falls hopelessly head over heels in love. Sally works as a secretary for the MGM newsreel. To win her heart and be near her, Buster takes a job as a cameraman for the MGM newsreel—but only manages to deliver disastrous footage. Sally then gives him a tip to film the New Year’s celebration in Chinatown:
And indeed, a wild shootout breaks out between mafia gangs of the Chinese Triads… Comedy legend “Stoneface” Buster Keaton once again delights in one of his final silent films, with brilliant sequences, an action-packed, chaotic storyline, and of course, a touching love story!
